Holiday 2007 Gift Basket Program
 

Getting started with us is easy!



Step 1: Choose Your Products
Visit our Products section of the website and browse for your selections. We advise offering at least one variation each of a 1 bottle selection, 2 bottle selection and 3 bottle selection (this will vary depending on your breadth of varietiels to choose from, of course). Within the 1, 2 or 3 bottle selection, you can choose to offer wine options or limit to one choice (ie. 1 bottle basket with Chardonnday, 1 bottle basket with Cabernet, 2 bottle basket with Chardonnay and Cabernet and a 2 bottle basket with Merlot and Chardonnay, etc. The number of choices is up to you!


Step 2: Pricing

On the closeup page of each item, you will find the wholesale pricing along with suggested retail pricing based on a few average wholesale prices of the bottles of wine.The cost of your wine is not included in our wholesale pricing to you. . We give you wholesale pricing of just the cost of the basket filled with food items.You are free to set any final retail price you wish.


Step 3: Creating Your Images

We have professional studio photography of all the basket selections. To save you cost and time of shooting new photography with your wines, our design staff can "Photoshop" your wine label onto our existing gift images. You can see a few "before and after" shots here. If you prefer, we can send you samples of your selections and you can shoot your own photography.We will work with you to ensure the best quality images for your website

 

Step 4: Set up Your Billing Information
We will bill you weekly for the wholesale costs of each order and shipping costs via credit card. We will discuss payment arrangements during your initial setup process.

 

Step 5: Send Us Your Wine

Once you determine which selections you want and how many variations of each gift you wish to offer, you will need to get an initial shipment of your wines to us in Novato. We will work with you to coordinate a schedule to have the wines shipped or delivered to us in the most efficient manner. We will work with you ongoing to ensure you maintain enough stock of wines to fulfill your orders during the busy holiday season.


Step 6: Add Your Gift Selections To Your Website

Once your images are ready and you decide on the variations and pricing of your selections, you are ready to set up the products in the Inertia ReThink Engine. You will work with Patty Altaffer, who is familiar with both our systems and the ReThink Engine, to get your products properly set up for your website. Patty will also assist you with ensuring shipping methods and rates are properly set up for each product. Please note that you are free to use our product names and copy or you can edit the names and copy to suit your style!


Step 7: Announce Your New Gift Selection To Your Customers and Start Selling!

Once you are all set up and we have assisted you in testing a smooth order process, make sure you tell everyone about your new gift selection!

Samples

We are happy to create samples of any of the baskets with your wine in them. We would charge you wholesale cost of each sample and shipping charges (unless you make other arrangements for delivery of samples). Gift Card Message

We can accept gift card messages up to 240 characters. Our gift card is a fold-over card that can be branded with your logo. To ensure the gift card is not lost in the box, our gift card is attached to the Fed Ex label in the pouch on the outside of the box.We will need you to provide us with a high resolution jpeg or tif of your logo to use on the card.You can see a PDF sample of our picking ticket/Fed Ex Label/Gift Card integrated form here. Please note that the bottom half of the form is for our internal use only and is removed before the top half is pouched and put on the box.

 

Order Transmission
Our preferred method of receiving orders from our partners is via a flat file(excel or delimited text file). We will work with you to determine the best method of order transmission. Again, Patty Altaffer will work with you to ensure the order transmittal process is smooth and efficient during the busy holiday season. See our Shipping page for more details.

 

Shipping
We ship via Federal Express. In order to ship the same day (Monday-Friday), we must receive orders from you no later than 2pm PST. We can handle future ship dates if you include them in your order transmission file.

Corporate Gifting

If you have customers who are interested in larger quantities of the same gift for corporate orders, we will work with you handle receiving all the gift recipient information in the most efficient manner possible. We can handle orders from 10 to 10,000! All custom corporate orders must be sent to us no later than November 30th to ensure pre-holiday delivery. Please contact us to discuss your exact corporate gifting needs.
